Instruction
Students learn best when they are active participants in their learning. The curriculum has been carefully chosen for its level of student engagement, hands-on components, and depth of learning as well as its alignment with Christian values.
Primary students will engage in child-led play, hands-on learning experiences, and teacher-guided small-group instruction. Monthly themes allow students to explore their interests and make connections across subject areas.
Intermediate students will move through units of study in a self-directed learning model with teacher guidance and support through individual and small group instruction and feedback. Students will have opportunities for collaboration and peer learning through various hands-on activities. In addition to core subjects, Intermediate students participate in enrichment classes such as “STEAM Studio” and “Inquiry & Innovation Lab,” where students will choose a project of interest in which they research, design, and present to the class.
All students will attend a weekly Bible class where they will participate in worship and hear Bible teachings.
Weather permitting, daily outdoor free time will be given for all grades.
